在講座中，我們將探討遺產管理和保障個人意願的重要法律文件。

1. ”平安紙（遺囑）” 讓個人在去世後指示如何處理其財產和資產。遺囑確保受益人根據逝者的意願獲得分配。
2.  “持久授權書（Endurance Power of Attorney）”允許指定的人在授權者精神上無行為能力的情況，代為管理其財務事務。
3. “財產管理人（Committee of Estate）” 針對精神上無行為能力人士的情況而設立的，負責管理該人士的財產。這類委任通常由法院進行，以確保財產得到妥善管理和保護。
4. ”預設醫療指示（Advance Medical Directive）” 讓個人在面臨無法表達意願的情況下，提前規範其醫療照護的選擇，包括是否希望接受特定的醫療程序或治療，醫療專業人員不得對其施予指明拒絕的維持生命治療。最後，我們也會談到 “不作心肺復甦術命令（DNACPR）”，這是一項醫療指示，表明在病人心臟停止跳動或呼吸停止時，不進行心肺復甦術。

透過本講座，我們希望能夠增進大家對這些法律文件的理解，以便在需要時能夠做出明智的決策。

Prof Vitus Leung Wing Hang

Prof Vitus Leung Wing Hang PhD DPA(Hon) BBS JP is a solicitor and mediator of Hong Kong SAR. He contributes to the society in three main areas: Professional Development, Healthcare Sector, and Youth Development. In Professional Development, he serves as a member of the Personal Injury Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, an advisor to the Hong Kong Legal Exchange Foundation, and Vice Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Professionals. In the Healthcare Sector, he holds key positions in various Western and Chinese medicine organizations; being the chairman or a member of the governing committees of several medical organisations, including Ruttonjee & TSK Hospitals, Grantham Hospital, Caritas Medical Centre, and the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association. For Youth Development, he is Adjunct Professor of Metropolitan University of HK, Honorary Professor and Governor of St. Francis University and was commandant of Auxiliary Medical Service Cadet Corps. Due to his contributions to society in Hong Kong, he was appointed Justice of Peace by the Government in 2014 and awarded Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2020.
