Mr. Stephen Law, Justice of Peace (JP), Managing Director, ZhongYi Investment
Stephen Law, Justice of Peace (JP) , is the Managing Director of ZhongYi Investment. He is a SFC Type 9 (asset management) RO. He is also a shareholder and vice chairman of Coinstreet which operates a virtual asset business comprising a SFC Type 1 license for executing STOs and a web 3 business for NFTs.
Previously, Stephen was an Executive Director of MTR Corporation Ltd (HK: 0066) responsible for finance, investment control, treasury, investor relations, information technology and materials & stores. Prior to MTR, Stephen was a Managing Director of TPG, one of the world's largest private equity firms with AUM of US$135 billion. He was responsible for private equity investments in Asia.
Prior to joining TPG, Stephen worked for Morningside Ventures, Wheelock and Wharf Groups, and Arthur Andersen.
Stephen has been appointed by the Ministry of Finance in Mainland China as an expert consultant. He also serves as the President of the Hong Kong Business Accountants Association and a council member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a board member of Hong Kong Dance Company, a member of the Agricultural Park Advisory Committee, a board member of the CSK College Foundation, and a board member of SOW Asia. He was an Adjunct Professor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a member of the Investment Task Force of the Construction Industry Council. For promoting good corporate governance and ESG, Stephen serves as a Deputy President of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association, and the chair of its Corporate Governance Committee. He is also a member of HKSAR Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee.
Stephen is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Birmingham, the United Kingdom and received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hull, the United Kingdom.
Mr. Joey Pak, Managing Director, CFO, Admiralty Harbour Capital Limited
Joey is the Managing Director, CFO and Company Secretary of Admiralty Harbour Capital Limited, which is the investment banking arm of the renowned TCL Technology Group Corporation (Stock Code: 100.SZ). He was previously the Finance Director, the named company secretary, and an investment committee member of China Minsheng Financial Holding Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 245.HK). Before joining China Minsheng Financial, Joey was the vice president of China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, where he worked on various product development and improvement projects, including the launch and product improvement of ETFs and hedge funds. Prior to China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Joey was the global financial service assurance manager in Ernst & Young, and covered clients in the banking and asset management industries.
Joey has extensive experience in the financial service industry, spanning asset management, direct investment, investment banking, and professional services. He has developed proficiency in numerous areas including accounting, tax planning, financial & corporate & treasury management, strategy formulation & implementation, company secretary, and regulatory compliance, becoming a knowledgeable professional within the Hong Kong financial services industry. He currently serves as the Vice President and Vice Secretary General of the Hong Kong Business Accountants Association, as well as a committee member of the Branding and Communication Committee of the HKICPA. He holds the degrees of BBA (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Hong Kong, LLB from the University of London, and LLM from the University of Hong Kong. He holds the professional qualifications of CPA (HKICPA), CPA (AICPA) and CFA.
