Current Webinar: Major Revisions to HKFRS for Private Entities
Event Code : 20260105

Highlights

In April 2025, the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) for Private Entities were substantially revised to align closely with the International Accounting Standards Board’s third edition of the IFRS for SMEs. Effective from January 1, 2027, these enhancements aim to simplify financial reporting for private entities while preserving the principles of transparency, comparability, and relevance.

Join this webinar for an in-depth examination of the key developments, including:

    - Updated recognition and disclosure requirements for financial instruments

    - Implementation of the HKFRS 15 five-step model for revenue recognition

    - Introduction of a new Section 12 on Fair Value Measurement

    - Amendments to consolidation and business combination provisions

    - Revisions to the Conceptual Framework

This webinar is designed for accounting professionals, auditors, and stakeholders involved in private entity reporting who wish to stay informed on the practical impact of these comprehensive updates.
