About the Speaker:

Alice LAW has been the Managing Director of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) since 1 July 2018. Ms Law joined the MPFA as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director in July 2012.

Ms Law has over 20 years of experience as a regulator in the pension and financial services industry, with her first 14 years serving the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. Prior to joining the public sector in 1998, Ms Law was a partner in a Hong Kong law firm. She is a member of the Global Future Council on the Future of Financial & Monetary Systems of World Economic Forum. Ms Law holds an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Hong Kong and she took her Master of Laws degree at University College London.

About the Panelists:

Paul PONG Po Lam

Mr Pong works in the fund management industry over thirty years with solid experience in traditional funds, hedge funds and venture capital. He was an Advisor for Asset Management of Mass Mutual Asia Ltd, Advisor of Great Wall Fund Management Co Ltd (PRC) and Comgest Far East Ltd (Europe). He was also Director for Kallista Management Fund Ltd (France) and Agri-AM Securities Investment Trust Corporation (Taiwan).

Philip TSO

Philip Tso joined AllianzGI in October 2017 and is responsible for guiding AllianzGI’s strategy in Asia Pacific in delivering the firm’s best-in-class investment advice and diverse solutions to institutional investors. He also heads the Hong Kong institutional team to focus on expanding the distribution, deepening the client penetration of our business and promoting thought leadership. In addition, he will drive the consultant strategy in Asia Pacific and work closely with consultants to help developing innovative ideas for investors.

Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended a full session of seminar. For those who have not attended full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted accordingly.
