About the Seminar:

Accountants work traditionally in the accounting and auditing and some of them may work in other areas, such as IT, corporate finance or bank financing. In recent years, there are increasing demands for accountants in some new areas such as insolvency, forensic accounting and anti-money laundering. In this seminar, the two speakers will share with you the functions of insolvency, forensic accounting and anti-money laundering, and the basic requirements to move to the areas.

- Former Member (February 2011 to August 2014) of the Management Committee of the Forensic Interest Group (ForensIG) of the HKICPA

- Immediate Past President (2015) of the Greater China Division of CPA Australia


- Deputy Chairman of Accounting Development Foundation

- Managing Director and Head of Legal and Compliance of an investment bank

- A qualified accountant by profession with more than twenty-five years’ securities regulatory compliance experience having worked at the Compliance Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Futures Commission, and the Legal and Compliance Department of various investment banks.

- A testified securities expert witness.

CPD Hours:

Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended a full session of seminar. For those who have not attended full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted accordingly. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
