About the Seminar:

Public accounting is sometimes misunderstood to be a boring career that involves tabulating and crunching endless stream of mind-blogging numbers. In today's world, it is actually a highly skilled profession that is well-respected by the society. To do the job right, professional accountants must have good analytical, communication and leadership skills.

During the seminar, Mrs Yuen will share with the audience how she was able to transform from a CPA to CEO. Mrs Yuen’s accounting background has given her a strong foundation in finance and enabled her to progress from auditing and reporting to more forward-looking, strategic and management roles. The accounting profession has also provided her a wealth of training in areas such as negotiation, quality management and public speaking. Mrs. Yuen will also talk about her leadership style and management skills.

As a senior partner of a Big 4 firm for over 20 years, Mr Woo will share with the audience the interesting works of public accounting that had kept him in this career for over 30 years, and what it takes to be a successful public accountant.
