About the Speakers:

Ms Imma Ling Kit-sum, retired assurance partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers

Ms Imma Ling Kit-sum is a retired assurance partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Currently, she is a council member of The Hong Kong Institute of Education cum chairman of its audit committee, a council member of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and an executive committee member of Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association. She also serves as a member of Hospital Governing Committee and Governance Review Sub-committee of two Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools.

Imma is a certified public accountant. She is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Professional Accountants, Canada (CMA, Ontario), and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Ms Carrie Yiu, Director of Operations, Oxfam Hong Kong

Ms Carrie Yiu is the Director of Operations of Oxfam Hong Kong, overseeing entire Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, legal and compliance functions of the organization. She joined Oxfam in 2007 as the role of Finance Director. Prior to serving in the NGO industry, she was the Regional Chief Financial Officer of a UK headquartered conglomerate. Carrie worked in various multinational corporations in different industries and countries including Canadian financial corporations, Swiss sole agent trading company etc. She started her professional career in one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Carrie is professional qualified in both Canada as CPA (Canada) and Hong Kong as CPA and FCCA.

Mr Isaac Cheng, M.Phil., LL.M., CPA

Mr Isaac Cheng acquired his professional accounting experience in an international accounting practice. After briefly serving as a civil servant at The Treasury, he was invited to join a Singapore-based investment group as a vice-president to manage and oversee their portfolio companies in Hong Kong. In early 2014, he established a social enterprise within the group and was appointed as its chief executive. This social enterprise focuses on promotion of green building initiatives and corporate social responsibility. With a strong devotion to foster a healthy Hong Kong, he also serves as the Vice-chairman of The Health Connect of Hong Kong and the Honorary Accountant of Mental Health Foundation.

Mr Edwin Yeung FCPA (Practising), ACA, FCPA (Aus), FCCA

Mr Yeung Chi Wai, Edwin, is the founder and director of Edwin Yeung & Company (CPA) Limited. He has over 25 years of experience in accounting through practising as a certified public accountant with Edwin Yeung & Company (CPA) Limited since 1991. He is also a member of the Disciplinary Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was the president of the Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors in 2008 and is now the council member. Mr Yeung has served as an independent non-executive director of China Outfitters Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1146) and a Chairman of Executive Committee and a director of Accounting Development Foundation Limited.

About the Facilitator:

Mr Ng Yu Ho, Steve CPA, ACCA

Mr. Ng Yu Ho, Steve, was graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. He has worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong for 9 years and has extensive experience in auditing and in-depth knowledge in auditing and accounting standards. The clients he served included both private and public companies, across different industries such as manufacturing, retailing, pharmaceutical, various services industries and not-for-profit organization.

Mr Ng is now an associate director of Citylinkers Corporate Solutions Limited and is also an independent non-executive director of Seamless Green China (Holdings) Limited (Stock Code: 8150).


CPD Hours:

Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended a full session of seminar. For those who have not attended full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted accordingly. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
