About the Seminar:

IPO is a key milestone of running a business. However, the public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is a complex and onerous exercise, requiring skilled teams of commercial, financial and legal expertise. Enterprises may face numerous challenges throughout the IPO process. Early preparation is essential for them to go public.

The objective of the seminar is to highlight certain areas for those enterprises to well equip themselves and plan strategically before starting the IPO journey in order to make the IPO successful.

This seminar will discuss the followings:

About the Speakers:

Mr Eric Tong started his career with Deloitte in London and his professional experience includes the UK, Hong Kong SAR as well as Shanghai. He brings with him over 25 years of experience in auditing and advising international and local banks, fund management and securities companies as well as leading a number of IPO projects on Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland stock exchanges. In addition, he has been involved in a number of special audit assignments, due diligence and advisory projects and advises a number of clients on regulatory compliance matters. He is also a regular speaker on matters relating to financial services industry.

Ms Fran Hung has over 12 years working experience in the Audit Department and Technical Department of Deloitte China as well as a global financial institution. She possesses extensive knowledge of the accounting and financial reporting under IFRSs/HKFRSs and has actively been involved in dealing with Hong Kong IPO projects since 2005. She delivers seminars internally for Hong Kong and PRC offices, public listed companies and regulators and also speaks for seminars organised by various accounting associations in Hong Kong.

Mr Krates Chan has over 11 years of financial audit experience and is specialized in audits of state-owned conglomerates and IPOs in Hong Kong. Apart from these, he has been involved in a number of merger and acquisition transactions and is currently focusing on advisory projects related to accounting and financial reporting solutions and IPO readiness study for his clients.


CPD Hours:

Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended a full session of seminar. For those who have not attended full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted accordingly. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
