About the Seminar:

An intensive 3-hour session on how students should prepare for the Final Exam June 2014. The session will cover hot topics for June 2014 and important examination technique on how to tackle the Final Exam paper.

About the Speakers:

Ms Phei Koid is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) who qualified with a Big 4 firm in London. Phei is a top-rated trainer in the HKICPA Qualification Programme (QP) and Final Exam (FE) in Hong Kong, specialising in Financial Reporting (Module A) and Business Assurance (Module C) subjects. Phei has many years of experience training students in Hong Kong and is well-known for her highly effective exam technique and high pass rates. In 2013, Phei set up her own training company, Core by Phei & Co Ltd (Core) offering top quality QP and FE courses. Core exam preparation courses constantly receive great feedback from students and achieve high pass rates. Apart from the HKICPA examinations, Phei also taught ACCA P1 Governance, Risk & Ethics, ACCA P7 Advanced Audit & Assurance and conversion courses for financial reporting and auditing. Phei recently worked as a Senior Manager with a Big 4 firm in Hong Kong, delivering IFRS courses to internal staff in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Phei graduated with a degree in BSc Economics from the London School of Economics, United Kingdom and went on to work in external and internal audit in London.

Mr Dave Yang is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder specialising in asset management in investment banking services. Dave is an experienced part-time tutor in financial subjects and joined Core by Phei & Co Ltd (Core) in 2014. Dave will be responsible for HKICPA Qualification Programme (QP) and Final Exam (FE) in Hong Kong, specialising in Corporate Finance (Module B). Dave has many years of practical experience in the financial industry and will be able to help students pass their exams and also to give students a clear understanding about the modern financial world. Dave graduated with a degree in BSc Accounting and Finance from University of London, United Kingdom.

Ms Vanessa Ngoi is qualified with the HKICPA and has over 15 years of practical tax experience in both Hong Kong tax compliance and tax planning assignments. She specialised in expatriate tax with Ernst & Young in Hong Kong on various investment banking clients and had recently worked as a Tax Manager with compliance, advisory and internal training duties both on the corporate and individual level. She is now a trainer for the HKICPA QPD Taxation and provides tax advisory and planning services on an independent basis to keep herself updated on tax developments. She enjoys training and has nurtured an affection working with students to assist them qualify for the professional membership. Vanessa has been named by many as an approachable and dedicated tax trainer.
