About the seminar:

Enterprises engaging in business activities with Mainland China are likely to encounter China’s tax and foreign exchange issues. Chinese authorities on foreign exchange and taxation have strengthened their efforts for rules formulation and compliance enforcement. Understanding the newest development of China’s rules on taxation and foreign exchange is crucial for management of the enterprises to properly and tactfully handle the issues. This seminar will provide you with the most updated information in the following areas:

1) New development in recognition of beneficial ownership of dividends under the PRC-HK DTA;

2) Relevant Issues of Permanent Establishment in China and the tips for avoiding potential pitfalls;

3) New development in indirect share transferby non-resident enterprises;

4) Foreign exchange reform on product trade;

5) Impacts of new foreign exchange rules on funds repatriation.

About the speaker:

Wilson has over 20 years professional experience in providing tax and business advisory services to multinational corporations and Hong Kong companies. Wilson has deep knowledge and extensive experience in advising on international, PRC and HK tax as well as transfer pricing issues. His areas of specialization include tax planning, operational models of cross-border transactions for China business, transfer pricing documentation and defense, tax restructuring and M&A advisory, foreign exchange, customs and international trade consulting for China business concerns.

Prior to joining Crowe Horwath, Wilson worked for a "Big Four" international accounting firm from 1997 to 2007. His last position in the "Big Four" firm was a tax partner in its Shenzhen office in China.

Wilson is also a member of China Tax Committee of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He has frequently given speeches in seminars on tax, transfer pricing and business topics.

2) Successful enrolments will be confirmed by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be automatically placed on waiting list; they will be called up in the order of time of receipt of registration when vacancies arise.

3) Applicants may also check their registration status on ARC website using the same membership number of their professional affiliation when they register.


1) After receiving our Confirmation, you can either pay cash or cheque for admission at location.

2) If pay by cash, please present the Confirmation with your cash payment when you attend the seminar.

3) If pay by cheque, please make cheque payable to Accounting Development Foundation Limited. Write down your name and Enrolment ID number on the back of the cheque and submit it with the Confirmation when you attend the seminar.

Seat Accommodation:

Please note that seats accommodation for accepted participants will be reserved until 15 minutes after the seminar starts. Seats may not be available for participants who are late for over 15 minutes.

CPD Hours:

Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For those who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
