About the seminar:

We are facing different kind of conflicts everyday, from work relations with your colleagues to methods of teaching your child. Negotiation is one of the best approaches to resolve your conflicts. This seminar is able to help you to resolve any conflict situations with outcomes that are acceptable to both parties. This seminar highlights the most common conflict scenarios, and suggests different ways to resolve them by quoting some real life examples. The speaker will guide you to navigate the “art and science of negotiation” to deal with any disagreements.

We also introduce the method of how to define the bargaining arena and to uncover your power in negotiation, and how to win a negotiation when the other party seems to have more power! The negotiation skills you learn from this seminar could bring about significant benefits and return.

About the speaker:

William Chan brings with him 28 years of extensive business experience at senior positions with renowned companies from telecommunications, IT and banking/finance sectors, like PCCW, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, BT Global Services, Verizon Business, China Enterprise Communications (a CITIC company) and New World Telecom to name a few. He has a strong track record in international business and partnership development, business operations, sales and marketing in diverse business cultures. William is able to leverage his broad business experience to enrich the negotiating skill training and consulting across different business sectors through superb communications of all levels.

He has been conducting courses to improve the negotiation skills for delegates from companies like IBM, Amazon, WPP Group, British American Tobacco (BAT), Adidas, Michelin, Abbott Diagnostics, Swire Group, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Light & Power and etc. The participants are based out in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, who come from different industries and business backgrounds.


Enrolment:

1) Those interested are requested to register on-line by filling in the below enrolment form on the website. Acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

2) Successful enrolments will be confirmed by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be automatically placed on waiting list; they will be called up in the order of time of receipt of registration when vacancies arise.

3) Applicants may also check their registration status on ARC website using the same membership number of their professional affiliation when they register.

Payment:

1) After receiving our Confirmation, you can either pay cash or cheque for admission at location.

2) If pay by cash, please present the Confirmation with your cash payment when you attend the seminar.

3) If pay by cheque, please make cheque payable to Accounting Development Foundation Limited. Write down your name and Enrolment ID number on the back of the cheque and submit it with the Confirmation when you attend the seminar.


Seat Accommodation:

Please note that seats accommodation for accepted participants will be reserved until 15 minutes after the seminar starts. Seats may not be available for participants who are late for over 15 minutes.

CPD Hours:

For those participants who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.

Bad Weather Arrangement:

The event may be cancelled or re-scheduled when typhoon no.8 or black rainstorm warning is hoisted. Please refer to our website www.ARCentre.hk for the arrangement.
