Miss Sharmini Thomas

With 10+ years experience within the finance and accounting recruitment sector with Michael Page, Sharmini is well positioned to provide insights regarding career planning and transition strategies. She began with a Big 4 Audit firm, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Australia. After transitioning to the recruitment sector, she progressed to become a Regional Director in Australia, leading their Financial Services and Finance practices. Based on her extensive recruitment background, Sharmini will provide a macro perspective on the spectrum of career paths for qualified accountants, including international moves.

Miss Jessy Wong

Managing the Financial Services Middle and Back Office practice, Jessy's direct coverage includes Finance, Tax, Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Operations across Investment Banks, Retail Banks, Asset Management and Insurance companies. Rebecca manages a large team of recruiters focused on recruitment from newly qualified through to executive level qualified accountants across Hong Kong. She personally specializes in the recruitment of senior finance executives for corporations. With 7 years recruitment experience in the Finance & Accounting sector with Michael Page, she is a career advisor to candidates at all levels as well as strategic advisor to clients. She is also a frequent guest speaker for different accountancy bodies in Hong Kong. With her in-depth experience in Finance recruitment, she will be able to provide meaningful insights.

2) Confirmation to successful applicants will be issued two business days before the event by e-mail.

Questions to Speakers:

This seminar consists of two parts. During the first part, the speakers will speak about their experience with regard to their specialist areas. The second part would be a discussion forum facilitated by Mr. Davy Shek. Participants are welcome to send your questions for discussion by sending email to info@arcentre.hk on or before 22 July 2012.


CPD Hours:

For those participants who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
