26 July 2011 Legislative Council Building Guided Tours


The Legislative Council Building was originally designed to be the Supreme Court and became the Legislative Council Building in 1985. This neoclassic architecture with Far Eastern flavours has played an important role in the political, social and cultural history of Hong Kong. This summer, it will be relocated to the new premises at Tamar. Accounting Resources Centre and Paul M.P. Chan's Legislative Office have co- organized two guided tours of the Building to let you visit this monument. Mr. Paul M. P. Chan will also be there with you to show you around.

Details of the guided tours are as follows:

26 July 2011 Tuesday: 3:45pm – 4:45pm (Cantonese)

Venue: Legislative Council Building, 8 Jackson Road, Central

Gathering Time : 3:30 pm

Gathering Place : Public Entrance 1 at the Legislative Council Building (please click here for the map)

CPD: 1 hour

Fee: Free of charge

Places for each tour: 40


Enrolment:

1) Those interested are requested to register on-line by filling in the attached enrolment form. Acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

2) Successful enrolments will be confirmed by email. Unsuccessful applicants will be automatically placed on waiting list; they will be called up in the order of time of receipt of registration when vacancies arise.

3) Applicants may check their registration status using the same membership number of their professional affiliation when they register.

CPD Hours:

For those participants who have not attended the full session, the number of CPD hours will be discounted according to the actual time of attendance. Completed CPD hours will be granted to attendees who have attended the full session. For the exact recognition of the CPD hours, please check with the respective Institute or Association.
