The Success Ingredient: sharing session with Carlson Tong

Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants has newly formed young members group known as "25.35 Group". The group will launch a series of experience sharing sessions with successful practitioners, accountants in business, entrepreneurs and leaders of Hong Kong. The inaugural session will be held on Monday, 23 May at The Hong Kong Club. Free flow of drinks and canapes will begin at 7 pm followed by talk at 8 pm.

HKICPA are honoured to have Carlson Tong, JP as the speaker of the inaugural session. Mr. Tong was the Chairman of KPMG China and Chairman of KPMG and he will share his experience in the accounting industry over the last 37 years and what are his secrets to be successful in life.

For young members, you'll find the talk inspirational and useful for your career development. For senior members, this will be a great opportunity for you to nurture your fellow young members by sharing your experience in the profession. About the speaker:

Carlson was the Chairman of KPMG China from 2007 to 2011 and Chairman of KPMG ASPAC from 2009 to 2011. He retired from KPMG on 1 April 2011 after having been with the firm for 32 years. He was also the Chairman of the Main Board and GEM Listing Committee of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

Carlson is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also Honorary Fellow of the Lingnan University.
