This seminar is to explore the basic reasons and schemes of financial statement fraud. Among the three types of occupational fraud, (bribery and corruption, financial statement fraud and assets misappropriation) financial statement fraud produces the biggest impact in terms of dollar amount. COOKING THE BOOKS definitely is a fraud, damaging the employees, the corporation and the public. Accountants and auditors should be cautious and never commit this kind of accounting scandal.

Mr. Kent Choi worked with extensive experience for multinational companies in Hong Kong and The United States. His great exposure in fraud prevention management and accounting practices benefits a lot of foreign and local entitles. Through seminars and classes held in various occasions, he assists the accounting practitioners and corporate management to explore and understand the nature and different types of accounting schemes, thus enhancing the prevention and detection of financial statement fraud.
